Count Dracula as part of his purest form is the fact that suave, dark, mysterious, blood sucking vampire you know and love. Much of the photos people think of today once they picture the count are rooted throughout the original Dracula, Bela Lugosi. In fact, if a person were to look Dracula up within the dictionary they might see a picture of Lugosi from Universal"s Dracula. While Lugosi is credited for setting normal because of this terrifying lord of the night, he wasn"t the first vamp to look on film, nor was he the final. Max Schreck was the 1st Dracula, despite having to alter the name to Orlok for copyright reasons. Regardless of copyright issues, Nosferatu was but still will be the original vampire. With Lugosi"s rights to being called the 1st and original Dracula striped far from him, they can be put on a level stage to get scrutinized with every actor who came after him inside the role. One of these actors, Christopher Lee, managed to improve, or otherwise bend, abdominal muscles thought and concept of what Count Dracula is. His performance in Hammer"s 1958 Horror of Dracula gave the globe a brand new vision of the terror within the night. Hammer gave the population a new reason to become afraid of the dark whenever they released their version in the Dracula story, which is in several ways far finer quality than Universal"s version.
The male lead Laurence Harvey, playing the rich philanderer Weston Liggett, is among the most one who taught Clint Eastwood the best way to squint.
